This November, Amy Adams stars in a new science fiction movie about the Arrival of aliens.

Amy Adams’ character, as we learn in the Arrival trailer, is the best human in the United States suited to communicate with aliens. But even she struggles to make a connection as other countries begin to mess with her progress:

Arrival looks quite emotional and is sure to make viewers think about what lies beyond our planet. And we love how Amy’s character, Louise, seems to take a very careful approach to communicating and managing the aliens.

It reminds us of Jurassic World, and how Chris Pratt’s character Owen is one of few people who care for the dinosaurs.

A synopsis from Paramount reads: “When mysterious spacecrafts touch down across the globe, an elite team – lead by expert linguist Louise Banks – is brought together to investigate.”

“As mankind teeters on the verge of global war, Banks and the team race against time for answers – and to find them, she will take a chance that could threaten her life, and quite possibly humanity.”

The movie co-stars Jeremy Renner and Forest Whitaker, and opens November 11.
