After uniting for The Expendables 2, the senior-citizen superstars will be back on our screens for next year’s prison-break, The Tomb.

Set for release next year, The Tomb sees Stallone’s Ray Breslin framed for a crime and imprisoned in the titular jail – a super security prison he helped create. Once there he meets Emil Rottmayer (Schwarzenegger), and the two devise a plan to overcome the corrupt guards and impenetrable security system in an effort to reach freedom.

Also starring 50 Cent, Jim Caviezel, Vinnie Jones, Sem Neill, Amy Ryan and Vincent D’Onofio, The Tomb will be directed by Mikael Håfström (1408) from a screenplay by Miles Chapman (a relative newcomer, having only penned a direct-to-DVD sequel to Road House).

Does this look like another over-the-top prison heist movie, or the Stallone/Schwarzenegger collaboration we’ve all been waiting for?
