Ariana Grande has officially set a date for her upcoming ‘One Love Manchester’ benefit concert and it turns out she’ll be returning to the city much sooner than expected.

The “Into You” singer was understandably shaken after a deadly bombing during the Manchester stop of her Dangerous Woman tour took the lives of 22 concert goers and injured dozens more.

Though the singer took a few days rest from social media, Grande returned just last week, offering words of comfort to all those affected by the horrific event.

In a lengthly Instagram post, Grande also assured fans that she’d be returning to the city to spend time with those affected, and to host a benefit concert in order to raise money for the victims and their families. Now it looks as though Grande is making good on that promise.

The “Honeymoon Avenue” singer took to Instagram on Tuesday (May 30) to announce she’d be returning to the city for a benefit concert dubbed “One Love Manchester.” The upcoming event is set to take place this Sunday (June 4) at Emirates Old Trafford, with all proceeds set to go to an emergency fund set up by the city of Manchester and the British Red Cross.

According to the L.A. Times, fans who attended Ariana Grande’s concert on May 22 will be able to request free tickets to the show. Meanwhile, tickets to the general public are set to go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m., Manchester time Thursday (June 1).

Grande won’t be the only one performing on the special night. Other big name artists set to take the stage at the One Love Manchester benefit concert include Coldplay, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, and Pharrell Williams.

It’s great to see Ariana Grande’s fellow musicians coming together to stand beside her for such an event, and we’re sure it’s bound to be a special night for all involved.
