Are You Afraid of the Dark? is coming back to haunt even more of your nightmares, starting with this creepy teaser.

If we’re being honest, Are You Afraid of the Dark? has always been the ’90s TV revival that has us the most frightened, and this teaser definitely isn’t doing anything to change that. It looks like the show that kept us all awake as kids is back, and creepier than ever.

The original Are You Afraid of the Dark? series premiered in 1992, and aired seven seasons between ’92 and 2000. The anthology series followed a group of kids called the Midnight Society, who would sit around a campfire and swap ghost stories in each episode.

The Are You Afraid of the Dark? reboot will consist of three, hour-long episodes, taking the series away from its original 30-minute episode format. The new episodes will premiere in October, 2019.

The teaser introduces a new Midnight Society and teases the reboot’s “Carnival of Doom” theme. The teaser is filled with some really creepy looking clowns, and asks the ever important question: Are you afraid of the dark? Watch it here!
