During a conference call with Apple today, CEO Tim Cook confirmed that the Apple Watch would begin shipping in April.

Today during a phone conference in which Apple discussed its Q1 financial reports, CEO Tim Cook subtly threw in that the much-anticipated Apple Watch would begin shipping in April, according to The Verge, though a specific release date was not mentioned.

The wearable device, which was announced alongside the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus in the fall of 2014, had previously only been announced as coming in “early 2015.” Cook had nothing more to say about the device other than development is right on schedule.

The Apple Watch is the next foray in to technology from Apple, one of the world’s most recognizable and successful technology companies. Once known for its Macintosh computer, Apple is now best known for its mobile devices like the iPod, iPhone and iPad — all of which were cultural innovations led by the late Steve Jobs.

There is little else known about the device, other than it will come in three separate models and have a starting price point of $350.
