Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon has found its newest star in Brendan Fraser.

According to Deadline, Brendan Fraser is the latest notable name to join the cast of Apple TV+ and Paramount Pictures’ Killers of the Flower Moon.

Helmed by Oscar winner Martin Scorsese, the forthcoming crime drama is based on author David Grann’s New York Times bestseller of the same name.

Set In 1920s Oklahoma, the story centers on the FBI investigation of the murder of the Osage Nation— a tribe who winds up getting murdered one by one after oil is discovered on their land.

For his part, Fraser is said to be taking on the role of lawyer, WS Hamilton.

The star of The Mummy franchise isn’t the only notable name set to be starring in Scorsese’s first film for Apple TV+.

Also set to star in Killers of the Flower Moon are Robert De Niro, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Jesse Plemons, who will play William Hale, Ernest Burkhart, and Tom White, respectively.

Others who’ve previously joined the cast include William Belleau, Louis Cancelmi, and Grammy Award winning artists Jason Isbell and Sturgill Simpson.

Behind the camera, Scorsese will serve as executive producer in addition to directing. Meanwhile, Forrest Gump vet Eric Roth will pen the script for the upcoming adaptation.

Currently, there’s no word on when we can expect to see Killers of the Flower Moon debut via Apple TV+.

Brendan Fraser fans can currently catch him starring in HBO Max’s Doom Patrol, where he plays Cliff Steele.
