Ahead of the Apple Watch debut later this month, Apple has released iOS 8.3 which features many new and diverse emojis.

Each of the human emojis now includes a diverse selection of skin tones — a feature that’s been highly-requested since the introduction of emojis several years ago. No longer will you have to select a white girl painting her nails every time you want to show off how classy you are.

Now when you want to select a different skin tone for your emoji, simply hold the emoji until an additional keyboard pops up above your finger:

In addition to new emojis, Apple has revamped the emoji keyboard so you can easily scroll through the wide array of options. There are also new flags and updated tech emojis (the watch is now an Apple Watch, for example). Apple says there’s a grand total of over 300 new “characters.”

Look at this huge new emoji tray:

Unfortunately for Taco Bell, there is still no taco emoji.

iOS 8.3 also includes a new option to separate your messages by whether or not you have the phone number in your contacts list. If you don’t have the number, incoming messages will go into a separate section (very helpful for celebrities, less helpful for your average human):

Interestingly, Apple says there is now a feature that lets you report junk messages right within the Messages app.

The last major improvement is one for Safari: The spacebar has been widened so you no longer type.search.queries.like.this:

iOS 8.3 includes boat loads of under-the-hood changes as well. Apple says iOS 8.3 includes “improved performance” for app launch and responsiveness, Messages, Wi-Fi, Control Center, Safari tabs, and rotating your device.

Apple also released an updated version of their Mac operating system today which includes the aforementioned emoji improvements and an all-new Photos app.
