In a new clip from ABC we have our first official footage of Marvel’s Ant-Man, and it also reveals some behind-the-scenes footage of The Avengers: Age of Ultron.

While it isn’t much, this very short clip via ABC is our first look at Marvel’s Ant-Man starring Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas. It also shows some great behind-the-scenes looks at The Avengers: Age of Ultron. Watch the footage below:

This clip aired during Marvel’s special titled “Marvel: 75 Years, From Pulp to Pop!” It’s their attempt to connect its TV viewers with its massive film audience. Marvel is doing its best to cross-promote its upcoming films with its new TV shows which include Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and the upcoming Agent Carter, which we got our first clip of last night.

Marvel recently attempted to release The Avengers: Age of Ultron’s first trailer during an episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but the trailer leaked nearly a week early and was they were forced to release the trailer officially. They still included the trailer during the episode, but it would have been an excellent way to promote both the show and the film.

As Marvel continues its reach into television, we expect to see more crossovers which should generate some great promotion for both its massive tentpole films and its highly anticipated TV shows.

Let us know what you think of our first (brief) look at Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas in Ant-Man’s footage, which will hit theaters July 17, 2015.
