It looks like Ansel Elgort is heading back to the big screen for another book-to-film adaptation!

According to Variety, Ansel Elgort has officially been tapped to star in the upcoming adaptation of Donna Tartt’s novel, The Goldfinch.

Tartt’s story tells the tale of a young man named Theodore Decker who winds up surviving a terrorist bombing at an art museum. His mother, however, isn’t so lucky and ends up perishing in the vicious attack. After the incident, Theo’s journey takes him to Las Vegas where he lives with his estranged father and then finds himself involved in the business of art forgeries.

Elgort is set to play the lead role of Theo in the upcoming adaptation, which is being produced by both Warner Bros., and Amazon Studios. As part of the deal, Warner Bros., will distribute the film worldwide, while Amazon will hang on to streaming rights for the movie.

Director John Crowley, who most recently spearheaded the critically acclaimed romantic drama Brooklyn, is set to helm the adaptation of The Goldfinch.

Elgort’s involvement in the upcoming drama is sure to be a great next step for the rising star after coming off of Edgar Wright’s critically acclaimed action drama, Baby Driver.

The Goldfinch isn’t the only film you’ll be able to see Elgort in on the big screen. In addition to his most recent casting announcement, the Fault in our Stars actor is also set to star opposite Kingsman star Taron Egerton in The Billionaire Boys Club, and as a young John F. Kennedy in the war drama, Mayday 109.

Billionaire Boys Club is set to hit the big screen sometime in 2017. There are currently no release dates set for Mayday 109 and The Goldfinch.
