When this picture hit the internet four days ago accompanied by these better looks at the Catwoman costume, most of the internet responded with an almighty “meh.” Now Anne Hathaway has a response to all those who were unimpressed with the costume.

In an interview with MTV, Hathaway opened up about the nationwide response to her outfit, including a quick jab at MTV’s own reaction.

“I was not going to admit it: I asked someone to send me a few reactions [to the photo],” she said. “And I happen to know that MTV’s reaction was ‘meh.’

SLAMMED. MTV was quick to jump on the defense, but Hathaway didn’t seem too peeved about it. In fact, she let slip some juicy details about secrets the suit might provide!

“What I am happy to say is, if you didn’t like the photo, you only see about a 10th of what that suit can do,” she promised. “And if you did like the photo, you have excellent taste.”

Awesome news. It’s great to hear that the suit has a utility aspect to it. What do you expect to see out of it for the other 90%? The folks at ComicBookMovie seem to think that it will have retractable claws, which sounds very plausible if she plans on getting in many fights. What else do you think? Will Catwoman’s new suit include a few tricks up it’s sleeve?
