Christmas might be over, but the holiday miracles keep on coming. Pitch Perfect star Anna Kendrick is in negotiations to play a female Santa Clause.

Diversity is awesome. Kevin Hart has recently been rumored to play Santa in Dashing Through the Snow (also a Disney film), and now we’re receiving news that Kendrick will be the lead in the upcoming movie Nicole.

According to Variety, Nicole is just a working title, but “the story revolves Santa’s daughter who is forced to take over the family business when her father decides to retire and brother ends up getting cold feet prior to his first big Christmas Eve flight.”

It sounds like a pretty hilarious premise, and Kendrick certainly has the chops to pull it off. My immediate thought is what sort of Santa suit will she be wearing—if she’s going to be wearing one at all. (But, like, she kind of has to, right? How can you have Santa without a Santa suit?) Will they keep it classic, or will they make it “sexy” just because it’s a woman?

Marc Lawrence, who previously wrote Miss Congeniality and definitely knows how to make people laugh, will be writing the script and directing the film.

Kendrick has recently been seen in The Accountant and Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, and has voiced the lead in Trolls. Filming on Pitch Perfect 3 is set to begin shortly, with Kendrick reprising the lead role.
