Fans of the Animal Crossing sim game and Minecraft are treated to some awesome looking New 2DS XL consoles.

A Mario Kart 7 console was also announced. It has a black and red pattern to match the series aesthetic.

The Animal Crossing console comes pre-installed with Animal Crossing: New Leaf – Welcome amiibo, and features an attractive set-in logo on the top cover. The mint green cover is surrounded by a cream-colored plastic clamshell.

The Minecraft New 2DS XL also comes pre-installed with Minecraft: New Nintendo 3DS edition, and is donned by the series antagonist mascot Creeper. The Creeper design has multiple layers of depth, showcasing the pixelated art style of the Minecraft games in beautiful fashion.

The Mario Kart console bundle will come out exclusively in Japan on July 19, while the Animal Crossing console bundle will come out on the same day in Japan, Australia, and Europe. These two consoles will cost 15,980 yen. The Minecraft console bundle releases on August 2, also exclusively in Japan, and for 16,980 yen.

There is hope that especially the Animal Crossing console bundle will come out in the West, as the orange and white New 2DS XL variation was originally released in Australia, and then later in the United States.

Animal Crossing: New Leaf – Welcome amiibo is an updated version of the 2013 release of the game for the 3DS. The update allows amiibo capability, and the usage of the QR scanning feature of the 3DS family for amiibo QR cards.

The New 2DS XL allows players to play games exclusive to the “New” line of the 3DS family. Minecraft: New Nintendo 3DS edition is one of these games that takes advantage of the circle nub on the righthand side of the console, along with the increased processor power of the New Nintendo 2DS XL console.
