Anchorman lead character Ron Burgundy will publish his first book this fall, titled Let Me Off at the Top!: My Classy Life and Other Musings.

This official, “fully authorized” autobiography looks at the life and times of San Diego’s favorite evening news anchor.

In the book, Ron will “share never-before-told stories of his childhood and the events that led him to choose a career in the news business,” according to the official synopsis. “He will offer a rare glimpse behind the camera into the real life of a man many consider to be our greatest living news anchor. In his own words, he will share personal anecdotes about the women in his life, about his dog, Baxter, and his legendary news team. Along the way, he’ll also give sage advice on a variety of topics that matter most to him.”

Let Me Off at the Top! will hit book store shelves on November 19. You can pre-order the book now through Amazon.

It’s not clear who is ghostwriting the book for “Ron.” There are no indications that it was written by the actor who plays him, Will Ferrell. Perhaps it is being penned by the film’s writers.

The book will be published ahead of the highly-anticipated, star-studded Anchorman 2, which hits theaters December 20.

Ron’s book sounds like the perfect gift for the friend or family member in your life who has missed the anchor over the years.
