Another clip from Anchorman 2 has been released and features Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell) being coerced into joining a 24-hour news network.

The concept of a news channel running around the clock is laughable to Ron Burgundy, who when we last saw him was content with being a San Diego news anchor.

In this clip we see Ron receive an offer from someone at GNN to come to their network. He takes one look at the money on the table (literally) and jumps right on board.

Later in the film, Ron brings his team to New York to be a part of GNN, and they encounter some new faces who enjoy taunting Mr. Burgundy. Check out additional clips from Anchorman 2 in our previous report.

Will Ferrell has been bringing his anchorman character around the globe in a huge promotional jaunt. Check out several of his best appearances so far.

The film opens in theaters December 18.

Paramount has launched a “Superticket” with participating AMC theaters which allows diehard fans to see the movie two days early. In addition to advance access, you’ll receive a digital copy of Anchorman Wake Up Ron Burgundy – The Lost Movie (the “alternate version of the original Anchorman“), a $5 AMC concession bonus card, and a collectible poster. The tickets cost $33 and you can purchase yours on Fandango.
