Saturday Night Live alum and Parks and Recreation star Amy Poehler is currently penning her own book!

Adding to the continuing success of female comedy writers writing their own books (Tina Fey, Chelsea Handler, Mindy Kaling just to name a few), it was announced today that Amy Poehler will publish her book with Harper Collins imprint It Books, according to THR.

The untitled book is expected to hit shelves in 2014. According to It Books, the book is described as: “an illustrated, nonlinear diary full of humor and honesty and brimming with true stories, fictional anecdotes and life lessons.”

It Books editor Carrie Thorton released a statement saying she is “blown away by [Poehler’s] creativity and her passion.”

Tina Fey’s comedy book Bossypants sold over two million copies and was a standout selection in 2011 when it was released. Recently, Girls star Lena Dunham scored a $3.7 million advance to pen her own book of humorous essays that will surely be a hit when it’s released.
