Live from New York, it’s…America’s Got Talent! The auditions and Vegas rounds are over, and that means it’s time for the live shows.

America’s Got Talent will be live from New York for the first time ever tonight. The live shows used to be held in Hollywood, but they relocated to New York this year to accomodate freshman judge Howard Stern.

12 of the top 48 will perform with a chance to make it on to the semifinals. Assuming they keep the format the same as years previous, three contestants will get voted in by America, and the judges will decide which of the two remaining acts that got the most votes will advance.

AGT airs at a special time tonight, 8:30 ET/PT. You don’t want to miss it.
