America’s Got Talent was live with the wild card round last night. Here’s our recap.

First up was Spencer Horsman who was brought back by Howard. Horsman, the escape artist, took every advantage of his returning opportunity. In his most dangerous (and best) stunt yet, Horsman escaped from a tank being filled with cement. Howard congratulated Horsman on being worth bringing back. Sharon said he delivered, and she said it was night and day to what it was last time. Howie was glad to see he took the criticism to heart and it worked better than they could have ever thought.

The all-male clogging group All That! was brought back by Sharon. She was not disappointed and said it was really well done. Howie didn’t think it was as exciting as the other acts and didn’t see how they got through. Howard agreed. He said they were talented, but he didn’t see how they could be one of the top four.

Jarrett and Raja, the magic act that features music, was brought back by Howie. They did a fantastic transportation of a piano and pianist from inside of a wooden box to a spot on the other side of the auditorium. Howie was very proud of himself for bringing them back, and was glad they delivered. Howard loved the big illusion. Howard loved that they took out the “cheese” and that they proved that they were pros. Sharon said it was really, really spectacular. She said they should be proud.

Singer Jake Wesley Rogers was brought back by Sharon. One of the things he didn’t do well previously was connect with the audience because of his song choice, and choosing to sing Lady Gaga’s “Edge of Glory” was a good way to do that. Sharon said that she’s proud and that he should be, too. Howie thought he sang very well, but the fact that he is a singer will hurt him this year because a singer won’t win this year. Howard said his youth does show and that the audience doesn’t connect with him, regardless of song choice.

Cristin Sandu was brought back by Howie. Sandu either balances or he falls, and where he fell last time, he balanced this time for a long time before ultimately falling. Howie said he brought Sandu back because he thought he put too much pressure on Sandu. Howard said he should feel proud of himself because there aren’t many people who could balance on that “pile of junk,” much less for that long. Sharon said he was very brave, especially to come back and do it again.

Dog ventriloquist Todd Oliver was brought back by Howard. Taking advice from Howard, Oliver based his act around political humor. Howard thanked him for taking his advice. Sharon said she didn’t want the 90 seconds to end, and that his act was “definitely a 10.” Howie said he made it tough, because there are already over four really good acts and the show was only halfway over.

Though they didn’t get a chance to even perform in the Vegas rounds, Sharon brought back the Bandbaz Brothers. Their act promised to be dangerous as it has killed before. Sharon said it was breathtaking. Howard noted that it takes tremendous strength, and said it’s hard to believe that tonight’s contestants were voted off. Howie said the fact that they did this deadly trick was crazy.

Sebastien “El Charro de Oro” was brought back by Howie, but he claimed his heart belongs to Sharon, regardless of the attention he has been getting from girls. For the first time in his time on AGT he experienced pitch issues, but that didn’t keep him from getting a standing ovation. Howie said that Sebastien is more than singer. He said he’s a performer and a star. Sharon said all of his decisions were fantastic and his performance was magical. Howard said that he was flat and singing in English showed some of the problems with his voice, and Sebastien said he took that criticism to heart.

The king of the nut shots, Horse, was brought back by Howard (who else?). Howard still thought he was histerical, and he thought he performed very well, especially because he wore underwear (so you can see there’s no protection. Howie said that he’s “nuts.” Sharon said that the collective men of America were grabbing their groins in pain. Horse let Howard shoot him in the nuts with a tennis ball cannon that shoots the balls at 90 miles-an-hour. Three times.

Dancer Lindsey Norton was brought back by Sharon. Sharon said Lindsey did very well, and it was impressive as always that she was up on the stage all alone, but tonight’s talent level was high. Howard said she’s beautiful and graceful, but her competition level may be too tough to overcome. Howie also said that he’s concerned that she will get overshadowed.

After getting eliminated in Vegas, fan-favorite Andrew De Leon was brought back by Howie. He has had problems with his nerves, and he was able to make it through the song unscathed and got a standing ovation. Howie said Andrew redeemed himself. Howard said he was terrific and was very happy. Sharon said he is a star.

Crossbow sharpshooter Ben Blaque was brought back by Howard. Blaque performed a stunt so dangerous we don’t even want to tell you what it is, so watch the video. Howard said the night was Blaque’s night. Sharon says Howard only brought Blaque for his lovely female assitant, Devin. Howie said the vote will be tough.

Unlike usual, all of the acts really came through tonight, so picking four will be tough.

Our picks to advance: Andrew De Leon, Ben Blaque, Spencer Horsman, and Sebastien “El Charro de Oro.”

Who do you think should advance?
