America’s Got Talent was back Wednesday night for the conclusion of Vegas week. Here’s our recap of Wednesday night’s show!

Due to the length of Wednesday’s episode, this recap will only highlight the top five acts.

Distinguished Men of Brass

There’s something delightful about this act. It certainly is a breath of fresh air to see a band with these sort of instruments doing well in an American talent show in this day and age.

Wordspit the Illest

When they first auditioned they reminded me of The Roots, and that didn’t change this time. That’s to their advantage, though. As I would be tempted to sing the Elvis tune “Viva Las Vegas” in an audition in attempt to get sent on to Vegas, I loved the use of Frank Sintra’s “New York, New York.” This adaptation of it was fantastic.

David Garibaldi and His CMYKs

This act amazed me early on and they did it again. Their blending of dance and painting is very original, and I love it.

Lindsey Norton

The grace of Lindsey Norton has me completely won over, and as I’ve said before, I’m not one for dance acts. Her flips are so incredibly effortless.

Turf

This list couldn’t be legitimate if it didn’t include Turf. His contortionist dance routine made me queasy in the audition rounds, but here it just made my jaw drop. I still can’t figure out how he did that move where his arms are interlocked behind him and then they’re suddenly out in front of him.
