Season 3 of American Horror Story is still very much shrouded in mystery, however one of the show’s stars Frances Conroy is speaking about her role.

Frances Conroy spoke with Shock Till You Drop and revealed that her role on American Horror Story season 3 will be larger than it was this past season. “It’s going to start up again in July or August in New Orleans, I’ll be part that and will have a fairly substantial part in it,” She said. “I’ll be in 10 of the episodes of what I think will be a 13-part season. That will be interesting to see what’s written, the writers are so good and I can’t wait to see where it goes.”

It sounds as though her role will be just as large as it was in the first season when she played the older version of maid Moira O’Hara, appearing in a majority of the episodes. In the second season she played the Angel of Death and only appeared in four episodes.

When asked about whether or not the focus of the third season would be on witches she coyly responded, “I know there’s been a little bit of teasing, they’re trying to keep it all hush hush so there are surprises. I’m interested in seeing what world we’ll inhabit.”

Are you glad to see Conroy will have a larger role in ‘American Horror Story’ season 3?
