Evan Peters is speaking out about season 2 of American Horror Story, his character Kit Walker, and taking it all off on set.

Peters certainly isn’t new to the bizarre after his stint on the first season of American Horror Story and donning an S&M rubber suit for his character Tate. This time around it’s a whole different ball game. Instead of playing the bad guy, Peters is now playing the victim. His character Kit Walker is wrongly accused of committing murder, at least that’s what we’re being led to believe.

Although Peters says he doesn’t know for sure, he does believe in Kit’s innocence, telling the Vulture, “He’s definitely misunderstood. I don’t know, though. He doesn’t seem to know if he’s crazy himself, but he’s not insane. He’s not a psychopath.” He also says he does believe that the aliens we saw in the first episode were really there and not a figment of Kit’s imagination.

Personally, Peters doesn’t seem keen on having scenes with them explaining, “They’re creepy! They have puppeteers. It’s a full-on big thing, like it’s really there in the room with me. It’s funny.” While show creator Ryan Murphy seems like he may believe in aliens, Peters isn’t so sure. When asked if he believes in aliens, Peters responded, “I don’t know. I’m so agnostic about everything. I just don’t think there’s enough information.”

What makes Peters even more nervous than the aliens on set? Bearing it all in front of the crew. Peters explains that he was nervous because, “There’s a lot of my butt up there this year.” Going on to explain he was horrified to have to strip down right from the start. What’s worse, he had to endure being whipped on the bottom by his co-star Jessica Lange.

He even paints a picture for us what it was like having to film his nude scenes:

I got scared. Unless I’m around certain people, I don’t like to be naked. I have a great picture of me naked on a bed…and the crew is all around me, bored. We were all waiting for a film roll or a lens to arrive. So I’m just sitting around naked on the bed and everyone’s so nonchalant. It was really weird for me, like, man, this is awkward.

How do you like Kit so far this season?
