If last night’s episode of American Horror Story gave you the creeps, don’t worry you’re not alone. Show creator Ryan Murphy revealed that episode 2×11 “Spilt Milk” made him uncomfortable too.

While Lana saw some victories in last night’s episode, that doesn’t mean the ick factor went anywhere. In fact, it seems like American Horror Story kicked it up a notch. So much so, even the show’s creator had a hard time watching it. Talking with Entertainment Weekly, Murphy divulged that he had a hard time watching the scene where Johnny Thredson was breastfeeding from a hooker. He explained himself saying, “I do think it’s shocking, but I think it’s incredibly moving but you don’t know it’s moving ’til the last scene. Like, he’s so full of remorse and hatred and bile for things he thought he didn’t get that he actually did get. I was uncomfortable editing and watching it, which tells you something. I know Dylan loved going for it. I loved the pain of that episode. I think it was very moving.”

Murphy also teased what fans can expect in the upcoming episodes. In the next two episodes we’ll see Johnny is not only living in his father’s house but is using his dungeon of horrors. We’ll also be seeing exactly what Lana decided to do with him as a baby. Plus fans will finally learn why the aliens are so interested in Kit and his offspring.

In the next episode entitled “Continuum,” Murphy states that the show will be split into four separate acts which each follow a different character which all tie together at the end. Murphy teases, “It’s very novelistic and you really spend time with the characters. There’s a great Kit/Grace/Alma act, there’s a great Jessica and the Angel of Death act, there’s a great Paulson act. The next episode moves you forward from 1965 to 1969/1970.”

And although he’s not saying what they were, Murphy admitted that there are clues to Season 3 in the last week’s episode “Name Game,” last nights “Spilt Milk,” and the next episode “Continuum.”

Have you spotted any clues for Season 3?
