The smallest living woman in the world, Jyoti Amge, will join the cast of American Horror Story: Freak Show this fall.

Ryan Murphy announced on Twitter today that Jvoti Amge, the world’s smallest woman, will join the assembled group of characters for the fourth installment of American Horror Story. Amge was declared the record holder standing at 24.6 inches on her eighteenth birthday. This is not her first time on television. She has appeared on India’s version of Big Brother, though nothing can prepare a person to enter the twisted landscape of Ryan Murphy’s mind.

There is no word on the capacity of Amge’s role or the number of episodes in which she is set to appear.

This is the first glimpse of Jessica Lange on set for her role as Elsa Mars, the ringleader of sorts for one of the last running freak shows in Jupiter, FL. All that is known of her role thus far is that she is an ex pat and will have a German accent.

The only other inside look at season 4 arrived earlier this summer when Sarah Paulson tweeted the first look at her character, or should we say characters, Dot and Bette. View the photo here!

Earlier this week, it was announced that Patti LaBelle will also join the cast playing the mother of Gabourey Sidibe’s character. She will uncover a crucial component to this season’s villainous character, Twisty.

LaBelle and Amge join newcomers Michael Chiklis, Wes Bentley, John Carroll Lynch and Finn Wittrock. Returning cast members include, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, and Emma Roberts.
