Evan Peters, American Horror Story’s Tate, recently discussed season two of Ryan Murphy’s freshman FX series… and whether or not his character will still have a role on the show. [Spoiler warning.]

Last week we saw Violet banish Tate, but we know from the preview for ‘Afterbirth’ that he will return this week, for what Ryan Murphy has said is the conclusion of their relationship. So does that mean Tate may not be back for season two? So far we don’t know of anyone who has managed to leave the house (other than on Halloween) but could it be possible to expel a spirit forever?

From E! Online’s Spoiler Chat:

Is Tate going to survive the finale? He’s a ghost, so he has to… right?

We’d love to say, “Of course he’ll survive the finale and stay around forever and ever!” But we know Ryan Murphy and the writers of American Horror Story all too well, and we know by now to never predict anything. But either way, rest assured that Evan Peters would happily come back for season two if Tate’s storyline is open for it. “After the break, I feel like I could come back and attack it, you know? Like twice as hard,” Evan tells us. “And I think it would be really awesome to get back in there and do some more stuff and stretch myself a little bit more.”

The chat also confirms that this week’s finale episode will be a whopping 90 minutes of horror-packed action. It was originally supposed to be two hours, but alas, was cut.

Would you still love AHS without Evan Peters? We’re not sure we could picture the house without Tate — so hopefully he returns!
