Tonight’s all new American Horror Story: Coven episode 12, “Go to Hell” has a lot riding on it. As the penultimate episode for the third installment of the Coven season, the episode needs to set up the story lines for closure in next week’s finale.
The title, “Go to Hell” is typically a phrase thrown around between opposing parties to convey a kind of finality in an argument, essentially damning the opposition. However, as American Horror Story fans can gather, taking a trip to a literal hell is a possibility when you work with voodoo witches and dark magic all season.

Last week, Marie and Fiona dismantled the entire Delphi Trust operation and secured the witches protection from witch hunters. Now that the outside threats have disappeared, the focus returns once more to the betrayal from within. Fiona’s track record in the Coven is working against her trustworthiness. But don’t stand in the way of a woman looking for her happy ending. The Axeman’s blade is sharpened and ready to take out any rising Supreme who drains Fiona’s life.
Like mother, like daughter, Cordelia’s drastic move to remove her own eyes to regain the gift of “The Sight” proves that she too will do anything to find a use for herself in the Coven. Cordelia may not need the sight the know her mother is evil, but her visions may help convince the rest of the ladies to remove themselves from Fiona’s path.
The Seven Wonders, a test that only a Supreme can pass, are set to make their appearance in the forthcoming episodes. Madison and Queenie are the only two witches remaining in the house, but as the images from this week show, it looks as though Zoe’s time in Orlando and Misty’s vacation in a tomb are both cut short.
