Clea DuVall — best known for her roles in Heroes and Carnivále — has joined the cast of American Horror Story, the second season of which will take place during the ’60s in an asylum.

TVLine reported about the casting, but there is no word as to who she’ll be playing — only that she’ll be in several episodes and appear in scenes alongside Sarah Paulson, an actress returning from the show’s first season.

The website also spoke to Ryan Murphy about the East Coast-set show’s sophomore season, which is currently filming, and he said, “People who were enemies last year are allies this year. The sets are amazing. It’s 1964, so everything looks very different.”

DuVall joins an all-star cast that already includes Jessica Lange, Joseph Fiennes, Zachary Quinto, James Cromwell, Evan Peters, Adam Levine, Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe, Chloe Sevigny, Lizzie Brochere and Mark Consuelos.
