Many American Horror Story fans have been speculating that the focus of the third season will be on the Salem witches, and it seems like Dylan McDermott might be confirming it! Read what he had to say here and decide for yourself.
Dylan McDermott is currently busy working on a pilot so he’s not sure if he’ll be making an appearance in the third season. He did say that he could juggle the two when he spoke with E! Online at Paley Fest. While we’re not sure where that currently leaves him with involvement in the show, he did make a tease about the third season which could send fans into a frenzy.
While commenting on the casting of Kathy Bates as Jessica Lange’s best friend turned enemy it seems like he dropped a bombshell. When asked if he thought Bates was prefect for the show McDermott responded, “She really is. All the witches of Salem…there’s plenty of them!”
On the same night Ryan Murphy also made some teases to TV Line about Bates’ character saying that she’s never played someone this bad and that it’s going to be five times worse than her character on Misery. Murphy also added, “When I pitched this to Kathy, her mouth was drop-jawed because what I was pitching actually happened. It’s a true event… You’ll see. It’s some good stuff.”
