American Horror Story: Coven seems to be a big hit this season. Even the show’s alumni Connie Britton and Dylan McDermott agree and are now talking about the possibility of their return.

Although Britton hasn’t been on the show since American Horror Story season 1 subtitled Murder House she’s still a fan of the show. The actress is actually hoping that she can play a part of the current season which has a strong female cast playing witches.

Britton spoke with the Rolling Stone and revealed that she’s been talking to the show runners this season, “They’re down in New Orleans and I’m in Nashville. I’m said, “Okay, let’s see if we can try to figure this out.”

While she does have previous commitments with Nashville she’s seriously hoping to work something out in her schedule. “As long as we can figure it out with both productions, I’m in. I hope it happens,” explains Britton.

McDermott who had a role in both the first and second seasons of American Horror Story also hopes to return to the show. Although he didn’t specify whether this season was a possibility or not. More than likely not, considering there aren’t that many male roles this season.

He did tell TV Line that he does want to go back on the show. “Ryan wants me to come back, and I want to come back. So we just have to figure out the scheduling. To me, [American Horror Story] is always like going home.”

In American Horror Story season 1 Murder House Britton and McDermott played a husband and wife with a troubled marriage. It may have been the fan favorite for a while but it looks like Coven may win out this season with it’s amazing storyline.
