Lucy Hale has found her newest series starring role in AMC’s Ragdoll.

According to Deadline, actress Lucy Hale has officially signed on to star in AMC and Alibi’s upcoming crime drama series, Ragdoll.

Based off of author Daniel Cole’s book of the same name, Ragdoll centers on a controversial detective named who gets reinstated to his post and finds himself called to a assist with a case being spearheaded by his former partner, Detective Emily Baker.

The case inquisition involves the murder of six people, all of whom have been dismembered and sewn back together into the form of a different corpse known as “The Ragdoll.”

For her part, the Pretty Little Liars vet has signed on to take on the role of DC Lake Edmunds— a new recruit who finds herself on the case.

Behind the camera, Freddy Syborn has adapted author Daniel Cole’s novel for the small screen.

Others involved behind the scenes include Sally Woodward Gentle, Lee Morris, Dan McDermott, Kristin Jones, Phillippa Collie Cousins, and Lizzie Rushbridger, all of whom will serve on producers on the project.

In addition to serving as head writer, Syborn will also serve as Ragdoll’s executive producer.

Currently, there’s no word on when we can expect to see Ragdoll starring Lucy Hale debut via AMC, but the series is slated to begin filming out in the UK sometime this spring.

As for Lucy Hale, the actress has been keeping busy since her days on PLL. Coming up next, fans can catch her starring in the big screen adaptation of author Sally Thorne’s novel, The Hating Game.
