Constance Wu is gearing up to star opposite Chris Pratt in an all new series coming down the pipeline at Amazon.

According to Variety, actress Constance Wu has signed on to join Chris Pratt in Amazon’s The Terminal List.

Described as a thriller, the forthcoming series is based on author Jack Carr’s novel of the same name. It centers on a Navy SEAL named James Reece (Chris Pratt), whose entire platoon gets ambushed while they’re out on a covert mission.

Once back home with his family, Reece finds himself having to come to terms with the guilt her harbors over what transpired during the high-stakes mission. Things take a dark turn however, when some new evidence surrounding the covert mission comes to light, prompting Reece to discover that there are dark forces working against him.

In The Terminal List, Constance Wu (Hustlers, Crazy Rich Asians) will take on the role of Katie Buranek.

Described as “a risk-seeking war correspondent who uses her byline to speak truth to power,” Katie finds herself teaming up with James Reece after reaching a crossroads in her career. Her hope is to break back into the mainstream by shining a spotlight on Reece’s truth, and the new information he’s uncovered about the high-stakes mission gone awry.

Also starring in the upcoming thriller is Friday Night Lights vet Taylor Kitsch. Kitsch will play a former Navy SEAL pal of Reece’s named Ben Edwards.

Currently, there’s no word on when we can expect to see The Terminal List starring Constance Wu, Chris Pratt, and Taylor Kitsch premiere via Amazon.
