The first trailer for Amazon’s I Know What You Did Last Summer series is here, and it’s bound to get you in the mood for the start of spooky season.

Amazon is gearing up to put its own spin on the iconic 90s slasher flick, I Know What You Did Last Summer, which serves as the inspiration for the studio’s next original series.

On Thursday (September 23), the streamer unveiled the official trailer for the upcoming mystery thriller series, based on author Louis Duncan’s 1973 novel of the same name.

Set one year after the fatal car accident that haunted their graduation night, Amazon’s I Know What You Did Last Summer centers on a group of teenagers who find themselves bound together by a dark secret, and stalked by a brutal killer.

As they try to piece together who’s after them, they reveal the dark side of their seemingly perfect town— as well as the dark side of themselves.

Everyone’s got something to hide, but uncovering the wrong secret could prove extremely deadly.
