Woah…Jamie Foxx may have forgotten about his ‘no comment’ contract when doing an interview with MTV about his next film Django Unchained and revealed some major plot details about The Amazing Spider-Man sequel and how his character Electro fits into the film.

Jamie Foxx is a veteran actor, so he has to know that The Amazing Spider-Man 2’s director Marc Webb wouldn’t want his film’s details leaking out. Despite that, he revealed quite a few plot details about his character Electro in the MTV video interview below.

When asked if he would “Have little lightning bolts sticking out of his head,” Foxx went on to say that “No, Marc Webb and all those guys are smart. They know that it has to make sense in 2013(14) and the suit is very slick … it’s actually black.”

Foxx went on to say that in Electro’s whole life he’s somewhat of a nobody, that “people are stealing his ideas at the big company” and that Electro actually runs into Spider-Man and then he thinks that “he’s Spider-Man’s partner, but then his Mom forgets his birthday and something tragic happens and then he snaps.” Sounds like Electro won’t just be a throw away villain – we imagine he’ll be very involved in the plot of the next Spider-Man film.

We also found out recently that actor Dane DeHaan will be playing Harry Osborn in the sequel, and we’re unsure whether his father Norman Osborn will make an appearance or not as the Green Goblin, but it’s starting to look like we may have quite a few major villains when the film’s sequel hits theaters May 2, 2014.
