Amazing Spider-Man 2‘s director Marc Webb is at it again on Twitter teasing fans with a new video which happens to give us a very quick glimpse of the new eyes that will be on Spider-Man’s redesigned mask.

The video tweeted is interesting and insanely quick, but we’ve brought you screencaps of the first look at Spider-Man’s new ‘eye covers’ which will be used in his newly redesigned mask. First, take a few seconds to check out the tweet and watch the video which Webb released:


 

Marc Webb recently announced that some alterations would be made to Spidey’s suit in Amazing Spider-Man 2 and that he would have more gnarly web shooters, as well as larger eyes. In case you missed the quick glimpses in the video, we’re taken the liberty of posting some screencaps of the mask’s new eyes below. So far fans have noted that they appear to look very much like classic Spider-Man eyes and we have to agree. Let us know what you think of the newly designed eyes below:

The film’s synopsis was recently revealed, confirming that Paul Giamatti would join the cast. The Amazing Spider-Man 2, starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Shailene Woodley (Mary Jane Watson), Jamie Foxx (Electro), Sally Fields, Paul Giamatti, and Colm Feore is set for release in 3D on May 2, 2014.
