The Amazing Spider-Man 2’s latest clip shows Peter and Gwen kissing in a closet, as Peter helps her escape from Oscorp.
The first clip for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was released just last night and featured Electro’s immense power. Now we have Gwen and Peter stuck in a closet together as they hide from Oscorp’s security. Watch the new clip below:
There were quite a lot of hilarious scenes in the first Amazing Spider-Man, but this new clip shows that the hilarity will continue to a vital part of director Marc Webb’s Spider-Man franchise. Andrew Garfield is an excellent Peter Parker and Emma Stone is just as playful as Gwen. Their real life relationship is certainly helping their onscreen chemistry.
Marc Webb recently confirmed that he has signed on to direct the third Spider-Man film and we’re glad to have some continuity within the franchise. The big question will be who will take over once Sony begins shooting out one Spider-Man movie a year.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 release date is set for May 2, 2014. Stars Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone will be returning as Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy, Jamie Foxx (Electro) will also be in the film, along with Sally Fields, Dane DeHaan, Paul Giamatti, and Colm Feore.
