Walt Disney Japan has released an alternate trailer for Iron Man 3 and it includes some new footage of the film.
The first trailer for Iron Man 3 gave us some incredible new looks of the new Iron Man armor, which features quite a bit more gold than previous versions of the armor. We first saw this version of the armor back at San Diego Comic-Con 2012 and we have to say, it looks much more appealing in the trailer footage than it did in the photos. In this new trailer from Disney Japan, the sequences are switched around a bit, but there are quite a few new scenes included.
We definitely see more of Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) and there’s a new epic score to listen to that’s a bit more uplifting than the original trailer. One thing that does stand out is that we see it’s actually Tony Stark that blows up his extra suits, to prevent them from getting into someone else’s hands. Sadly, Tony Stark’s cliff-side mansion still gets destroyed in this alternate Iron Man 3 trailer. It’s hard to say which trailer is better, both are arguably equally exciting.
