We already know that the Academy Awards showrunners are organizing a James Bond 50th Anniversary tribute, but this little bit of leaked information may be the most exciting part about it!

Independent.ie shares rumors that all six Bond actors – Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig – are slated to appear together for the tribute. If this happens, it’ll be the first time that all six Bonds have been united.

The report goes on to suggest that Adele’s live performance of “Skyfall,” which was formally announced this morning, could be the centerpiece of this physical epic moment.

Oscar producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron spoke excitedly about having Adele perform her Golden Globe-winning song on stage: “She is currently one of the most successful recording artists in the world, and we believe that her performance of ‘Skyfall’ will be an exciting Oscar moment for audiences watching at the Dolby Theatre and on television screens around the world.”

Skyfall has been nominated at the 2013 Oscars for Best Cinematography, Best Score, Best Original Song, Best Sound Mixing, and Best Editing.

On one hand we expect the Academy Awards will keep this bit of information a secret to create a big surprising moment. On the other, it may be worth announcing in advance to ensure all the Bond diehards tune in to witness history.

The Academy Awards will be held Sunday, February 24 and broadcast live on ABC. They will be hosted by Seth MacFarlane.
