The late Alan Rickman narrates the latest TV spot for Alice Through the Looking Glass, which will air during the Super Bowl.

Actor Alan Rickman passed away just this past month, and it’s nice to see the people behind Alice Through the Looking Glass using his voice to narrate the film’s Super Bowl TV spot. Listen to the amazing actor, and watch new footage from the Alice in Wonderland sequel.

Hearing the late actor’s voice over, which tells Alice she’s been gone too long, is a sharp reminder of the loss the world felt this past month when Rickman passed away.

In the new TV spot we see nearly all the main cast from the Alice in Wonderland sequel, with the addition of Sacha Baron Cohen in his new role as Time alongside the queen. Alan Rickman plays the blue Caterpillar, Absolem, and it’ll be nice to hear the actor’s voice when the film hits theaters this May. This is reportedly Rickman’s final film.

Alice Through the Looking Glass has an incredible cast, including Mia Wasikowska, Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Rhys Ifans, Stephen Fry, Matt Lucas, Andrew Scott, Ed Speleers, John Sessions and Michael Sheen, and Sacha Baron Cohen as the sequel’s new villain named Time.

The film’s synopsis: “In Disney’s Alice Through the Looking Glass, an all-new spectacular adventure featuring the unforgettable characters from Lewis Carroll’s beloved stories, Alice returns to the whimsical world of Underland and travels back in time to save the Mad Hatter. Directed by James Bobin, who brings his own unique vision to the spectacular world Tim Burton created on screen in 2010 with Alice in Wonderland.”
