For the third time this week Lionsgate has announced a new actor joining The Hunger Games: Catching Fire!
Alan Ritchson will play District 1 tribute Gloss. “A former Career tribute from District , Gloss and his sister Cashmere are both competing in the Quarter Quell,” says the studio.
Ritchson most recently starred in the CBS comedy pilot Super Fun Night and Spike TV’s Blue Mountain State. In other words, he’s a relative unknown.

Other stars cast so far include: Jena Malone as Johanna, Amanda Plummer as Wiress, Philip Seymour Hoffman as Plutarch, Lynn Cohen as Mags, Meta Golding as Enobaria, and Bruno Gunn as Brutus.
