Saturday Night Live star Aidy Bryant and fellow comedian Lindy West are heading to Hulu.

According to The Hollywood Reporter Hulu is officially teaming up with Saturday Night Live executive producer Lorne Michaels and Aidy Bryant to adapt Lindy West’s Shrill: Notes From a Loud Woman for the small screen.

The upcoming series is based off of the best-selling memoir by author, comedian and blogger Lindy West, which the online streaming platform describes as “the story of a fat young woman who wants to change her life, but not her body.”

Bryant joined forces with West and Ali Rushfield to pen the script for the upcoming series which is billed as a single-camera comedy.

Andrew Singer of Michael’s Broadway Video production company will executive producer the new series alongside Elizabeth Banks.

For her part Banks has a bit of a history with the source material. The actress, producer and director was the one who originally optioned the memoir for television back in December of 2016.

There’s currently no word on when Shrill might premiere via Hulu.

While you wait for the new series to premiere, you can catch Aidy Bryant on Saturday Night Live when the comedy series returns on Saturday May 5 on NBC.

Additionally, Bryant can currently be seen starring opposite Amy Schumer in the big screen comedy I Feel Pretty.
