Six AHS trailers were scattered across the internet over the past few days and now we have them all in one place. What do they mean?

Missed your chance to catch the clues for AHS season 6 on Snapchat? Couldn’t watch them with sound? Maybe you were better off. But if chainsaws, screaming, and instructions for keeping fresh wounds sterile are your jam, you can watch all of the trailers here and join our ongoing discussion about what they mean!

A few things to keep in mind before you dive in. The cast is skeletal at best— Cheyenne Jackson, Angela Bassett, Lady Gaga are all confirmed to return through their own statements. Ryan Murphy has mentioned that he would like to include more children in his storytelling this season, although he was currently toying with two ideas at the time. Connecting the various installments is still something that is on the table for the unnamed season 6.

‘What’s Cooking?’

A storm is brewing, could a stew be on the stove? Could bodies be burning in the basement? And was that a chainsaw? Farms have sent chills down my spine since I saw Signs and season 6 is definitely giving off the similar vibes. Speaking of Signs…

‘Sunset Stroll’

They seem lovable, right? The blue eyes are part of a continuing theme…

‘Milli Crossing’

Gross. Looks a bit like this could be a clue that Gaga’s character will be a member of the eery blue-eyed group. But I could be projecting.

‘Lullaby’

More Gaga questions arise! Could she be returning for another parenting role? In Hotel we saw her attempts to keep her beloved Bartholomew away from the public eye. What monsters will she be keeping away in this installment?

‘Post Op’

Another connection to past seasons comes with the continuation of surgical experiments making their way into the series. Although this is just a promo, the less than sterile environment for brain surgery has me feeling some serious Asylum flashbacks. I also spent way too much time looking up old staple guns to try and pinpoint a timeline for this. I can safely say that the practice came into affect well into the 50s and 60s. That’s not truly helpful, though. Here’s another trailer!

‘The Descent’

Metal stairs, creepy hands. Standard horror, nothing special.

And that’s all AHS season 6 wrote for now. Are we any closer to figuring out this mystery?

Some fans may be onto something when they noted that the house does bear a striking resemblance to Courage the Cowardly Dog.
