AHS season 6 will see more of Lady Gaga, if that is possible, as the actress confirmed her return to the franchise today.
Fresh off a stellar Oscar performance and Golden Globe win, Lady Gaga confirmed that she will take on another round of AHS. During an interview with the Elvis Duran from the radio station Z100, the actress, singer, dancer, and all-around pop culture superstar, responded with a hesitant, but excited “Yes” when asked if she would return to the Ryan Murphy helmed series.
During the interview Gaga spoke of her recent Oscar performance with great reverence noting that her fellow survivors, who joined her on stage during the performance of “Til It Happens to You,” gave her all the strength she needed to not only tell her story, but the stories of these women, to an actively engaged audience. Gaga noted, “You can’t have empathy without trying to understand someone’s pain. It’s really hard nowadays with the Internet and the way we’re online and all the gossip that we read. I’m sorry, I think it’s really shallow. I want young people and old to see that it’s okay that you don’t have to hide from difficult topics.”

Some other exciting news from the interview includes the promise that a new album is in the works and on the way! With the way Gaga is going, the Grammys should start engraving her name for 2017.
Gaga continues to add to the year of her life with the Oscars acting as the cherry on top of the massive amounts of success and breakthrough moments. A few highlights include receiving the Contemporary Icon Award from the Songwriters Hall of Fame, winning a Golden Globe for her performance in AHS: Hotel, delivering a rocking tribute to David Bowie, and saying yes when boyfriend Taylor Kinney proposed last February
Elsewhere in the AHS universe, Angela Bassett confirmed her return and revealed that her character will have a history of hitting the bottle, but she does not yet know why or when her character will be drinking.
AHS season 6 will return to FX fall 2016.
