AHS is coming back to FX ins 2016! John Landgraf, CEO of FX Networks and FX Productions, announced today that AHS will return.

Start making your predictions for season 6, folks! AHS is set to return to FX next year with another horrific installment.

Landgraf spoke to the ingenuity of AHS and the impression it left on the television landscape since its first installment five seasons ago. Landgraf says, “With the sixth installment coming next year, American Horror Story has unquestionably joined the ranks of television’s landmark series. From Murder House to Hotel, AHS has pioneered a new television form as well becoming FX’s highest rated show — while also pushing every conceivable boundary of creative excellence and audacity. This is even more remarkable because Ryan and co-creator Brad Falchuk tear up the playbook every year, challenging the entire creative team to come up with something even more spectacular, frightful and entertaining. You could not ask more of an artist, their team or a series and with every new installment they deliver.”

There is no official announcement from Ryan Murphy or any of the AHS team as to what a sixth installment will look like, but never fear, Murphy always has a plan. In fact, a few days before the premiere, Murphy already reached out the Lady Gaga with a request for her return in 2016. No word on whether or not she will take him up on his offer.

Besides creating an entirely new world to play in next season, Murphy has the additional pressure of crafting a role that will captivate the attention of one of AHS‘s treasures, actress Jessica Lange. There is plenty going on behind the doors of the Hotel Cortez, but the matriarch of the series is certainly missed.

But let’s focus on the present! There is plenty of AHS: Hotel left this season and the series returns this week with a glimpse into Liz Taylor’s love life with the reveal of the mysterious guest living in Room 33.

Watch AHS: Hotel episode 6, “Room 33,” airs Wednesday, November 11 at 10:00 p.m. ET on FX.
