If you do not think the AHS franchise is excited about Lady Gaga’s inclusion this season, think again. The second trailer to feature a cast member is heavily focused on Lady Gaga’s Countess Elizabeth and her legion of blond, bloodsucking children.

Gaga is a natural fit for this installment of AHS. It seems crazy to think she was not involved earlier. As the Countess of the Hotel Cortez, Gaga’s story seems to be front and center, and the mysteries of the hotel she owns unfold all around her.
The Countess is afflicted with “an ancient blood virus” that causes her to lust after blood. The children that are seen around her, as well as Matt Bomer’s character Donovon, also suffer from the same virus as Elizabeth.
Not only does Gaga look the part, but her work ethic on set is admirable. In an interview with the pop star, EW learned that the star is exceptionally dedicated to AHS: Hotel through its completion. “This is my focus right now. I don’t view this as a side thing that I’m doing in between other things. Cramming things in just to be everywhere all the time is really not what I like. It’s not what makes me happy,” says Gaga.
