Matt Bomer, Cheyenne Jackson, and Wes Bentley are confirmed to join Lady Gaga in American Horror Story: Hotel.

Update (March 17): Ryan Murphy has announced that actor Wes Bentley has joined the team. You may recognize him American Horror Story: Freak Show and The Hunger Games:

Original story (March 16): PaleyFest 2015 wraps up their spring celebrity filled gathering tonight with the AHS panel. While not much about the new season was revealed in terms of plot, filming location, or how it is connected to the previous four seasons, there were still plenty of announcements about the fifth season, AHS: Hotel.

Previously announced star Lady Gaga was not on hand as a surprise guest at the PaleyFest event, but season 4 newcomer Matt Bomer made an appearance to reveal that he will be returning to the AHS family and starring in the series. Shortly after Bomer’s announcement, Cheyenne Jackson joined the cast on stage to reveal that he too will be a part of AHS: Hotel (it’ll be his first time on the FX series).

While these two stars are excellent additions to the line up, one major pillar in the AHS legacy will not be returning for another round. Jessica Lange officially confirmed that she is not returning for a fifth season. Her parting words were, “Yes, I’m done. We’ve had a great run here. I mean, I absolutely love doing these four characters, and in all madness, I love the writers and Ryan and the insanity of shooting it.”

Before the night was through, Jessica Lange answered a fan’s question about which role was her favorite across the seasons. She replied with Elsa Mars.

Fans may know Cheyenne Jackson from Murphy’s other hit series, Glee, where he played the coach of Vocal Adrenaline and served a brief stint on Sue’s Legion of Doom. Bomer has also worked with Murphy on Glee, playing Blaine’s brother Cooper Anderson, as well as taking on the leading role in Murphy’s The Normal Heart. Both are looking forward to working with Ryan Murphy and the anything goes landscape that is AHS.

AHS: Hotel will air on FX beginning October 2015.
