AHS: Hotel revs up the hunt for the Ten Commandments Killer in this week’s episode by the same name. Who is behind all the bloodshed?

At the close of episode 7, all signs point to John Lowe as the the prime suspect in is own murder investigation. Checking in and breaking out of a mental hospital brought John closer to Wren, one of the Countess’ protected children.

Wren represents the other side of The Countess’ plan to keep the children of the greater Los Angeles area safe. While the boys enjoy the video games, endless candy, and frequent blood transfusions provided by their foster mother, Wren is tired of living the same day on an endless loop with nothing but a craving for blood to show for her passing time.

The thrill of helping a killer, in this case the very killer that John is hunting, gets her into some trouble. When John asks Wren to lead him to the home of the Ten Commandments Killer, Wren has one question before she complies — will John kill him?

Why would she be so concerned? If, in fact, John is the Ten Commandments Killer, the only way to stop himself from committing unconscious murders is to take his own life. Wren cannot bare that thought and instead takes her own life to ensure she never has to see it.

If John is indeed the Ten Commandments Killer, chances are he is working under the master of serial murders, Mr. March. In the preview of tonight’s episode, it seems there are two forces at work against Mr. March’s plan to complete his latest slasher legacy as Sally reenters the picture after disappearing for quite a while.
