Angela Bassett is finally checking in on tonight’s AHS: Hotel episode 3, “Mommy.” Find out who she is coming after when she pulls into town.

Ramona’s entrance is quite lethal. Bassett’s character is another lover of the Countess, but from how long ago? As we learned last week, The Countess has been around since 1906. With plenty of lovers who have come and gone, perhaps Ramona is “the one that got away.”

Ramona’s first move in the game against The Countess is to take possession of her unattended pawn, Donovan. Now that The Countess has set her eyes on the shiny new knight in her life, Donovan will likely do anything to get revenge.

ICYMI: AHS: Hotel episode 2 recap: Building the narrative

When Tristan finds himself free of the feeding/sex frenzy with the Countess, he visits a forgotten hallway of the Hotel Cortez to stir up a meeting with the most famous serial killer in the city’s history, Mr. March. Last week we saw Mr. March building his victims into walls, slicing their chests as he had sex with them, and bashing their heads in before tossing the corpses down the laundry chute.

His loyal attendant, Ms. Evers still roams the halls of the Hotel Cortez freely but Mr. March seems more content in the forgotten wing of the seventh floor. Tristan wants to know a bit more about the man whose final murder-suicide brought an end to his reign of terror and what other secrets the Hotel Cortez hides within its walls.
