Who will make it out alive on this season of AHS: Freak Show? See the odds and place your bets!

Only three episodes remain for this season of AHS: Freak Show. In the past ten episodes, the body count soared as Dandy’s murderous streak increased and Stanley’s plan to display Elsa’s Cabinet of Curiosities in glass cases unfolded. But with Ma Petite, Twisty, Ethel, and suburban home of housewives taken care of, there are still plenty of victims left in Jupiter, Florida. But who will make it out alive?

This week, marks the first appearance of Neil Patrick Harris’ character, Chester, who will take over as the owner of Elsa’s show. He seems alright on the exterior, but, much like Dandy, his mind is a terrifying landscape. Their still remains the threat of old grudges, mixed with the arrival of another outsider trying to steer the already uneasy freak show ship.

Let’s see whose favor the odds are in:

Elsa Mars

The ringleader and matron of the Freak Show has the advantage of an Easter egg planted in the last episode of 2014 working in her favor. Regardless of her questionable behavior, the people she stepped on to get ahead, and her love of the opium pipe, Elsa Mars is going to make it in Hollywood. When Pepper made it to Briarcliff she saw an old magazine with Elsa on the cover. Was this a figment of Pepper’s imagination? A kind of coping mechanism? After all perhaps we saw Sister June through Pepper’s perspective and she conjured up the image of Elsa in her likeness. One could make that argument, but it looks like Elsa will make it out of the small hub of Jupiter to the big lights of the soundstage.

Odds: Elsa will survive, but her killing days are over.

Dell

Nearly taking his own life a few weeks back, Dell’s future dimmed, but Desiree was not ready to let him see the light just yet. The guilt of killing Ma Petite coupled with the shame he carries around regarding his hidden sexuality weighs heavy on the strong man’s shoulders. But with Desiree as an quasi confidant and a mission to bust Jimmy out of prison, Dell has a renewed sense of purpose in the world. Will that be enough to make it?

Odds: Dell will not survive. If he doesn’t die while trying to help Jimmy, he will succumb to the high blood pressure we are sure he is dealing with.

Jimmy

There is a major question that needs to be answered this week; where those Jimmy’s hands in the museum or not? If they are in fact his hands, well the future looks a little bleak for our boy wonder. But if they were just an illusion conjured up by Desiree and Maggie to emphasize Maggie’s point, then Jimmy may still have a fighting chance. The hole in Jimmy’s heart, left by Meep and Ethel’s deaths and the drowning feeling of helplessness, Jimmy is not destined to carry on for much longer.

Odds: The future is not very bright for Jimmy Darling. His dependence on alcohol, the uncertain appendage attachment, and his behavioral issue the past few weeks set him too far down the emotional turmoil spiral for a comeback.

Maggie and Desiree:

The recent tag team of Maggie and Desiree makes their odds for survival in the camp stronger than most. Desiree is not a woman anyone would want to cross in a dark alley or even in broad daylight. She is a powerhouse of attitude, strength, and determination. Maggie has survived this long on her own, with some help from Stanley, and has pretty good instincts about who she can trust. Desiree is at the top of that list. Instead of going against the freaks, Maggie is determined to turn her play around and get Stanley out of there hair.

Odds: We can’t wait to see these two give Stanley what’s due. They will make it and open a nice bed and breakfast in Georgia following their escape.

Dandy

How do you take a cloud who thinks he was sent to Earth to deliver death and pin him down? Dandy’s new partnership with the police certainly seems like a strong advantage for his survival, but Dandy may be the catalyst for his own demise. His temperament and taste for destruction will cost him. In the upcoming episodes we predict that he will go head to head with someone equally matched in the crazy department, Neil Patrick Harris’ Chester, for the affection of the Tattler twins. Only he will be at the losing end.

Odds: Dandy will not live to tell the tale of the days when he snuck into a tupperware party and made a swimming pool turn red with housewife floatation devices.

Stanley

The conman has made it thus far on his quick wit and blackmail, but when will his luck run out? Our bets are on by the time Elsa catches wind that Hollywood was never in the cards for her. However, that time could also come from a few sources. Dell has it out for Stanley, Desiree and Maggie want to see him rot, Jimmy does not know it yet, but Stanley is not exactly the best resource for his freedom.

Odds: Maybe Stanley can talk his way into a nice location for his grave.

The Tattler Twins

Bette and Dot Tattler have their work cut out for them in the coming weeks. Recently rejoining the ranks of the camp, the Twins are faced with a newcomer whose interest in them is not only beneficial to his illusions, but also to his sexual desires. Dot just lost her heart to Jimmy, but what about Bette? Is it time for the two to make another compromise? As for their chances of survival, they have a a bright future so long as they stay on each other’s side.

Odds: Bette and Dot Tattler will not enjoy the fame and fortune Elsa may find, but they will take advantage of every opportunity thrown their way.

Elsa Cabinet of Curiosities

The main players are accounted for, but the supporting cast this season on AHS are not out for the count just yet. Still feeling the sting of Ma Petite’s death, Pepper’s relocation, and the distant memory of Meep and Ethel, Amazon Eve, Paul, Suzy, Penny, and Ima are all together and more ready then ever to fight. Paul has survived a knife to the gut at the hands of Elsa, Eve fought off Dell when he tried to murder her, and Penny survived a brutal tattooing. We’ve seen a glimpse of what the camp is capable on their own, tarring and feathering Penny’s father, so there is no question that they can hold their own when the call comes to band together.

Odds: The remainder of the camp will not fall to Stanley’s murderous mission, but they must remain vigilant when Chester comes to town.

AHS: Freak Show episode 11, “Magical Thinking,” airs Wednesday, January 7 at 10:00 p.m. ET on FX.
