AHS: Freak Show returns this week with episode 8, “Blood Bath.” Check out the first look at newcomer, Ima, in this week’s stills.

Elsa Mars may be losing her grip on her current batch of performers, but it looks like she will have someone new to focus on in this week’s episode, “Blood Bath.” This is only the second episode this season to have Ryan Murphy’s name listed as head writer.

Not much is known about Ima, but from the stills it appears as if her freakish talent is… eating?

‘Blood Bath’ Stills:

‘Blood Bath’ synopsis:

“In the wake of a tragic loss, Jimmy sinks into a drunken despair. A reading from Maggie spurs Dandy to action. Stanley and Elsa track down the Twins.”

Jimmy has not been handling his emotions too well after episode 3. For such a strong character at the start, his turmoil has sent him into a downward spiral of loss and despair. After Meep’s untimely death, Jimmy will have to face the disappearance of Ma Petite and the threat that no one in the freak show, and his family, is safe.

But as for Maggie and Dandy getting together, it will be interesting to see how the two handle their reunion. Jimmy asks Maggie in the last episode if she would recognize the voice behind the mask of the man who tried to saw her in half. This week, expect to find out the answer!

Stanley and Elsa hatched a plan to see the Twins removed from Elsa’s path to fame and fortune. From the synopsis it seems that maybe Ethel’s eavesdropping tips the Twins off to Elsa and Stanley’s plan for their demise and causes them to flee the grounds once more.

Gabourey Sidibe returns this week as Regina, the daughter of the Mott’s deceased maid, Dora.

Tune in to AHS: Freak Show episode 8, “Blood Bath,” Wednesday, December 3 at 10:00 p.m. ET on FX.
