Robbie Reyes — a.k.a. Ghost Rider — will bring Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 4 full circle when he returns for the season finale.

TVLine reveals that Gabriel Luna will reprise his role as the ghost-host Robbie Reyes in the season finale. The May 16 episode is titled “World’s End,” which suggests that the team will need all of the help they can get.

Luna made his debut as Ghost Rider in the season premiere of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 4, and served as the focus of the season’s first plotline. Robbie Reyes’ story was seemingly resolved when Robbie sacrificed himself to drag his evil uncle Eli — and the Ghost Rider — down into a murkily hellish dimension.

Since then, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 4 has dealt with an infestation of Life Model Decoys, and culminated in the dystopian world of Aida’s Framework. The season finale will pit Aida and her new body-making abilities against the presumably-traumatized team of agents, so a dose of mystical aid is definitely needed.

Actor Gabriel Luna seems just as enthused as fans for Robbie Reyes’ return, tweeting “‘So I hear you have a robot problem…’ ??? #GhostRider #backinthesaddle” with the announcement of the news.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 4, episode 20, “Goodbye, Cruel World!” airs Tuesday, May 2 at 10:00 p.m. on ABC.
