The Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 2 bloopers reveal that the cast had no problem keeping things light in the dark season.

The blooper reel was released on the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 2 Blu-ray and DVD, which are currently available exclusively on Amazon.

Segments of the gag reel were shown to fans at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con panel, but the “available to own” version expands significantly on those clips. From impromptu dance parties to hilariously elicit romance, it’s clear that the heroes and villains of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. were united in having a great time on set.

Highlights from the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 2 bloopers include forgotten lines (in Clark Gregg’s case, mild amnesia), faulty props, invasions of flora and fauna, and a few coordinated moments of levity. Edward James Olmos and Kyle McLachlan prove more than game for a joke, while B.J. Britt brings the laughter even in his last episode as the beloved Antoine Triplett.

The Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 2 Blu-ray and DVD also include several deleted scenes from the season, which add further depth to characters like Elizabeth Henstridge’s Agent Simmons, and Dichen Lachman’s Jaiying.

As the calendar closes in on the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 3 premiere, it’s a great time for fans to refresh themselves on the ups and downs of season 2 – and remember that, no matter how dark it seems on TV, the cast and crew are probably having a great time behind the scenes.

The Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 3 premiere, “Laws of Nature,” airs on Sept. 29 at 9:00 p.m. on ABC.
