The casts of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Agent Carter have been fighting a Dubsmash war — and the modern-day agents have just dropped the mic.

Update: Hayley Atwell has released a new dubsmash with Chris Evans. Watch it here. Game over, guys!

The war has been fought on the battleground of San Diego Comic-Con, where the actors have been involved in the yearly media frenzy. The audio-add-on app Dubsmash has been both team’s weapon of choice in the rapidly-escalating conflict.

Musical hostilities were kicked off yesterday by Clark Gregg and Chloe Bennet.

Hayley Atwell, who has recently become an avid Dubsmash user, was more than happy to respond — in hilarious fashion — with James D’Arcy.

As their Carter nemeses went Method, Chloe and Clark got hard-core on the S.H.I.E.L.D. bus…

In response, Hayley and James upped the game with costumes and smack-talk — a move which, they thought, earned them the definitive victory. Update: Thanks to Hypable reader Humbugged who pointed out that Hayley and James are dubbing Chloe’s song “Uh Oh,” a (hilarious) relic from her time as a pop-star in China.

Even Clark and Chloe were impressed.

…but the agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. had yet to play their ace.

Consider the mic DROPPED. @realhayleyatwell #dubsmashwar2015 @clarkgregg

How are the kids putting it these days? “Boom”?

Round One indisputably goes to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. But for the sake of Marvel TV fans everywhere, we hope this particular war hasn’t concluded just yet.
